Editorial and Research Policy
A KnolTok lens should let a reader see what came from the source, what came from the author, and what remains uncertain.
Book before lens
In v0.1, each public lens begins with a named book and the edition read. The lens question, interpretation, related research, and personal application come afterward. Material factual claims should connect to inspectable sources.
Interpretation stays visible
A lens is an interpretation, not a neutral substitute for the original work. Personal experience, inference, disagreement, and uncertainty are named where they matter. Quotations and page references are not invented or silently transferred between editions.
Editorial responsibility
A published lens has passed human review of its claims, interpretation, uncertainty, and practical guidance. Research tools do not count as evidence. The sources shown with the lens remain the basis for its factual claims.
Status and revision
A review label means the lens is still being checked. A published lens records its review date and material revisions. New evidence may correct, narrow, or change a lens. Revision history exists so that change remains visible.
Corrections
Corrections are evaluated against the source and the claim in question. Material corrections should update the lens and its revision history. To report an issue, email info@knoltok.com.
